The Chayal Court Club

PROJECTS | Youth-At-Risk

Who you will help

The Chayal Court Club is a home for immigrant children and youth, ages 5-14, who are still learning Hebrew and have begun the challenging process of adapting into Israeli society. The children do not live in absorption centres, and are scattered throughout the city, leaving them feeling isolated from other immigrant children and struggling to adapt socially and culturally. The Chayal Court Club is a safe and stable place for these children to adjust, make friends, develop coping and life skills and receive ongoing support of any kind. The clubhouse is deteriorating and does not create an inspiring or welcoming atmosphere for children.

Your donation will fund

A much needed renovation of the clubhouse, including a new safe room/shelter, and upgraded windows, doors, flooring, cabinetry and paint.

Location

Beersheva is the largest city in the Negev Desert, and the fourth most populated in Israel.
