Who you will help

The Shaked Club, from Akim Israel, is an after-school club for those with intellectual disabilities. The Club creates a warm, friendly environment for families who struggle to get inclusive and informed support from traditional after-school programming. Families and children with disabilities are welcomed here, participating in ability-appropriate classes in music, cooking, art, reading and more. The Club is currently renovating their outdated clubhouse and empty outdoor grounds. Having a usable and safe outdoor space will expand the club's capacity, allow families to spend more time playing and relaxing outside, and contribute to an overall healthy and pleasant atmosphere.

Your donation will fund

A comprehensive redesign of the grounds will significantly improve its appearance with green and accessible lawns, comfortable seating, outdoor meetings spaces, plants, trees, and shaded areas.
